Chaparral Middle School is committed to equipping ALL students with the academic and social competencies needed for them to be productive members of the world in which they will live. We believe that students must be taught responsibility, how to make decisions, and the communication skills that will be needed for them to function in a global society. Learning must occur in an environment free from prejudice and harassment, and rich in mutual respect. It is our belief, then, that we must implement programs and create conditions that maximize learning success for ALL students. We are dedicated to helping students "become their best." |

Make good use of your agenda book
Every student should have received a Chaparral Agenda Book the first day of school. Not only is this a valuable planner for students to note homework assignments and other events/projects but it can also be used as a communication tool between parents and teachers.
For your convenience, important school information and policies are included in the front pages. Parents should periodically check their students' agenda book. Messages to teachers can be noted in the agenda book or sent via email.
A copy of this year's agenda book is posted on this website (see General Information box above or Useful Forms on Home page). The school calendar is subject to change. Always refer to the Calendar page for updates.
Students must replace lost or damaged agenda books. Fee = $5
