Title I Information

About Title One

Title I funds are federal grants that are supplied to local education agencies (LEAs) or schools with high numbers of children from low income families to help ensure that all children meet challenging state academic standards.  These funds can be used in a number of ways to help the targeted students such as extra instruction in reading and mathematics, as well as special programs outside of regular school hours to reinforce the regular school curriculum.  On this page are links to  documents related to Title I at Chaparral.  These documents will be updated every year and are available here to parents.  You may also request copies from the Chaparral office.
